My kids love pretend play and anything involving play dough, so when I saw this chocolate playdough recipe online, we decided to set up a chocolate shop.
We first made the playdough using cocoa to give it the authentic chocolate smell and rich brown coloring. Then, we went to Michaels and found some small cookie cutters, a silicone heart shape chocolate moulds, jewels for decoration, and an assortment of fancy gold cardboard boxes to put their chocolates in.
When we got home, the kids had a blast rolling out their dough, forming their chocolates and then decorating them with the fancy beads. The last step was organizing them in their fancy boxes ready to be sold in their chocolate shop.
