Valentine’s Day Craft With Stained Glass Hearts

Super Mama, Leah Gemmati, is at it again with her creative, crafty ideas for the littles. Leah shared her Advent Calendar craft with the Mommee Coffee blog in December and she is back with an easy, low-cost craft for family members and little ones to do together at home.
Materials Needed:

- Construction paper
- Contact paper
- Vellum paper (or parchment with a see-through quality to it)
- Pom poms
- Cut-up pieces of felt
- Tape or glue
- Optional: Uncooked noodles or rice, glitter, markers/crayons, feathers
Stained Glass Steps:
- Fold the construction paper in half and cut two “half-circle” shapes to create the outline of a heart.
- Tape or glue the vellum, or see-through paper, to the construction paper heart.
- Put decorations out for the little ones to choose from.
- Support the little one with use of glue and tape when placing the items on the vellum paper.
- Let them have fun, wait for the project to dry, and hang in a window!
